Piemonte is also the birthplace of the Slow Food Movement. This says a lot about their love and appreciation of food, culture, and tradition.

  1. Day 1 Welcome to Turin

    Welcome aperitivo with Jo-In Team 🙂

    Dinner with an introduction to the local wines of Piemonte!

  2. Day 2 Around Turin and its gourmand excellences!

    Porta Palazzo and historical center:

    Our secret food tour is the best way to get to know the city and it’s the heart of gourmet delights, flavors, and a genuine atmosphere. The route runs through the historic center, between the narrow streets of the Roman Quarter, to find the most authentic places in the city center. The secret food tour is combined with the visit of Porta Palazzo, the largest open-air market in Europe with around 800 stalls.

    Time to Vermouth:

    Did you know that vermouth was originally created in Torino in 1786?
    Esperienza Vermouth® is a 2-hour workshop run by a leading expert of mixology. You will have the chance to smell, touch and taste some of the spices that make a vermouth. At the end of our workshop we give you the chance to make your own and take it home with you! 

    Special final dinner in Torino: guests at our home!
    Final dinner of the stay in Torino hosted by a local family sharing the preparation of typical dishes and the pleasure of cooking together. 

  3. Day 3 Cheese 2019

    Check out and private transfer to San Martino Alfieri.

    Check-in at the new accommodation, quick lunch then transfer Bra to enjoy Cheese 2019 by Slow Food

    Cheese is the Slow Food event dedicated to dairy products.  It takes place in Bra, the historical headquarter of the Slow Food movement through the streets of the city in a festive atmosphere characterized by gastronomic tradition and the promotion of good, clean and fair food. Along with the boots of the open-air market, you will find mainly cheese producers but also many food productions from all over the world. Together with the festival, we will let you experience the special events of Cheese composed by special tastings and gourmet events.

  4. Day 4 Barolo & Barbaresco

    The most interesting areas to sample wines of Piedmont are the Langhe, where they produce the famous Barolo and Barbaresco and where there is the largest number of producers. From the most famous producers to those just emerging, from large historic cellars to small companies that produce natural and homemade wine.

  5. Day 5 Cooking Class

    Want to learn how to cook real Italian cuisine with an award-winning Chef?

    Our Chef is thrilled to be exploring the Piemonte region and is actively exploring the flavors and fragrances of this sophisticated area of Italy. You will join him in the kitchen to learn first-hand all the secrets that make Piemonte cuisine so special.

    Leave with some new culinary talents to impress friends and family at home.

  6. Day 6 Truffle Hunt

    An adventure in the woods, following the trail of white truffles lead by a real “Truffle Hunter” and his faithful dog. The truffle hunting experience is essential to understand the unbreakable bond between the local area, the truffles and those who carry out this valuable work.

  7. Day 7 Monferrato & Barbera

    The Monferrato area recently added to the Unesco World Heritage list, is a many-faceted territory. Amid the landscapes and products, little-known and precious treasures are just waiting to be discovered. The Monferrato area occupies a fertile triangle of terrain between Asti, Alessandria and its historical capital, Casale Monferrato. Vineyards fan out in all directions interspersed with castles and celebrated restaurants.

    In Monferrato are very typical the so-called “infernot”: old, deep cellars dug several meters directly in a particular rock similar to the tuff. The original owners and builders of these wineries, although they did not have extensive knowledge of building or geology, were able to produce perfect works that are beautiful to visit.

    The vineyard landscape of Monferrato, along with the “underground cathedrals” (the historical wine cellars) of Canelli, were recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site
